Supermai Hydropower IPO Issuing to General Public from Magh 23

A public offering of 4,15,000 shares of Supermai Hydropower IPO Limited with a face value of Rs 100 will be conducted by the company. A total of Rs 4.15 crore is expected to be raised through the IPO on 23rd Magh, 2079. It is scheduled to close on 26th Magh, but may be extended until Falgun 08, 2079 if not fully subscribed. Of the total 500,000 shares offered, 50,000 shares have been allocated to Nepalese citizens working abroad, 10,000 shares have been reserved for company employees, and 25,000 shares have been reserved for mutual funds. There are still 4,15,000 shares available to the general public. The company’s paid-up capital will reach Rs 50 crore after the IPO.

A total of 500,000 shares worth Rs 5 crore were issued earlier by the company to affected locals. An additional 50,000 shares were issued to Nepalese citizens working abroad. A majority of shares, 80%, are held by the promoters.

Interest in the IPO can be expressed in a minimum of 10 units and a maximum of 20,000 units by applying to Sanima Capital Limited.

Super Mai Hydropower Limited’s credit rating has been upgraded from [ICRANP-IR] BB+ to [ICRANP-IR] BBB- by ICRA Nepal. In terms of its ability to meet its financial obligations in a timely manner, the company has a moderate rating.
